About Founder
Dr. Maher Ghandour is a dedicated orthopedic surgeon with extensive experience in clinical practice, medical research, and healthcare administration. He is currently completing his fifth-year orthopedic residency at the Regional Hospital Center (CHR) – Metz-Thionville in France. His expertise spans orthopedic and trauma surgery, with specialized training in hand surgery, microsurgery, and surgical pathology of the shoulder, elbow, and knee.
Dr. Ghandour holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Lebanese University and a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA). He has pursued advanced research training as a doctoral candidate in orthopedic surgery at RWTH Aachen University and completed research fellowships at Heidelberg University Hospital. His research contributions focus on orthopedic surgical interventions, pediatric orthopedics, and neuro-musculoskeletal disorders, with over 24 publications indexed in PubMed.
As an active researcher, Dr. Ghandour has served as an academic editor for MDPI Journals and a peer reviewer for leading journals, including PLOS ONE, Cureus, and the American Journal of Case Reports. He has been recognized as the International Resident of the Month (AAOS, 2022) and received the Best PICOT Paper Award (AO Trauma College, 2023). His dedication to advancing orthopedic surgery through research and innovation continues to drive his career in academia and clinical practice.
